## The trend

"First time in a fancy cafe" is a TikTok comedy format popularised in late 2026
and widely credited to creator Kevin Winnik (@kevkevkiwi). A round metal disc on

person sits on it; a second person walks in, sits on the ledge and puts a coffee
cup on the disc. The first person realises, freezes and climbs down in silence.
